Special Election to decide the Nickel Tax is set for Sept 12

Our BOE voted last night to move forward with an election on Sept 12 to allow the voters of our community to decide on the Nickel Tax (5.9 cents) tax to generate the revenue to replace the 1949 Middle School with a new High School.  Folks have today to register if they're not already registered to vote on Sept 12(the law requires voters must be registered 30 days in advance of an election).  If you wish to register please visit County Clerk Carolyn Byford's office in the court house or visit  GoVoteKy.com   or  Elect.ky.gov   to get registered.  More information will follow on the Nickel.
